I was born an empath and incredibly accident prone and it turns out these two qualities come in really handy in the massage therapy field. Now that I am a big girl and have learned to manage and balance all that I absorb from the world, I can focus on what is key to my success, you! Being fully present is of utmost importance to me and I will always be ready to give you my best. I will ask lots of questions, listen compassionately, read your body language and take your pain or discomfort very seriously. After two knee surgeries and too many injuries to mention, believe me, I get it. I know what it’s like to not be able to do the activities or sports you love, your job or just function in day to day life due to pain and limited range of motion. Bodywork such as massage therapy can decrease that pain significantly, improve mobility and address any compensation issues so you can return to health and feeling awesome. I have a team of practitioners I rely on when my own body doesn’t feel at it’s best and would be lost without them. I hope to be a part of your team!
Since graduating from Sutherland-Chan in 2011, I have worked in a variety of settings including multi disciplinary clinics, massage clinics, Toronto General Hospital, client’s homes and now my own home. I have a relaxed clinical approach and enjoy working with all types of clients including complex cases, pre/post pregnancy, stress related conditions, chronic issues and athletes. I like an anatomical challenge to keep me on my toes and never stop learning in order to perfect my craft. In a world where we are devoid of human contact, massage is a phenomenal way to reconnect with your body, piece it back together and live your optimal life. I am honoured to be a part of this process for my clients.
In my spare time, you will most likely find me outdoors in all types of weather. Nature is my religion, drug, best bud and crucial to my health and well being. Whether I am on the ski hill, at the beach, playing on a lake up north or taking a stroll in my own neighbourhood, being in the fresh air is how I re-charge and stay grounded. I also like to eat popcorn with way too much butter on it, go to concerts, travel, watch tennis, cook, dance and relax with family and friends.
